Discovery Marine Ltd is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company established in 1997 by its managing director Mr. Nicholas Papachatzis and is involved with Fire and Safety issues on-board ships (and not only), with many years of international experience and a strong belief that “Quality Wins“.
The company is involved with attending to required by IMO/SOLAS inspections and their supplies and equipment worldwide by attending on voyage surveys and at shipyards also as required by clients.
We work closely with Classification Societies and have achieved all main required certifications and approvals for performance of services both on products and our staff, including maintaining and updating training records for them.

We continuously train, develop and keep up with authoritative requirements and their amendments for ships. We are self dependent on all services locally and worldwide with our own exclusive workforce of 10 expert individuals.
Our competency extends particularly to feasibility studies on fixed fire extinguishing systems, their design, installation commissioning and maintenance. Our experience on such system goes back to more than 15 years with more than 150 installations having been accomplished on ships.
